Wow, this is a change from the trashy glitter explosion of last year. Harvey Nichols unveiled their Christmas windows and this year they are on a theme of Frozen Christmas with props frozen in ice and scattered tools left in the display to look discarded.
The windows are flanked by two abstract Christmas trees beside the main door upon which a hidden snow machine showers each with falling flakes.
If the weather reports for this winter are correct, it won’t be long before we have the falling flakes for real.

If you have actually been to see the window display you will be shocked!….It looks like a secondary school project, it’s a poorly constructed theme with the displays held together by reams of sellotape. They also have polystyrene wrapped plastic ice boulders outside the entrance. Wow its a ‘Fail’ this year in my opinion!
Aaah, I saw it at night so it was more effective. I agree though, the boulders in the front are not as sophisticated as they should be, although they are mean’t to eb abstracted trees it isn’t very clear and the snow seems to be only intermittent.
