Kids fashion round up from The Rendez-vous Xmas Winter Wonderland Instagram three day event which has just ended.
With fun from our special Elf Hoogah and special content from the collaborators of The Rendezvous collective between brand showcases the event was a big success.
I’ve popped a brief rundown of the brand participants below;
The FW 2020/21 collection called “Urban Poetry” is based on a contrast and balance of tradition, heritage and modernity.
The collection is very eclectic, from the “borrowed-from-the-boys” black Bobby loafers to girly sparkling sequinned ballerinas, from après-ski ‘Charade’ inspired Yeti winter boots to classic velvet Mary Jane shoes.
When creating the collection, we were thinking about this “cool-looking and full of energy girl on the streets of London, New York or Moscow”. As always, we refer to a modern girl whose interests spread across multiple fields.
Designer boots and shoes are made in delicate colour palette — grey, silver, white and beige. Key fabrics & materials used include buckle tweed, suede, leather, velvet, felt and glitter.
A new range of prints takes inspiration from the animal world and nature, with cuddly bears, wild tiger stripes and all kinds of beautiful flowers as well as bold graphics and cool camouflage.
Molo outerwear is wind, waterproof and highly breathable. For this season we have increased the technical properties of our outerwear with water column now being: 15,000 mm and breathability: 15,000 g/m2/24hrs
Péro DISCO 2020 is being launched.
At this time, when we all need something to cheer us up, something to make us forget all that is happening around us and break free, exactly what DISCO did in the 1970’s by providing an escape from all the social and economic issues.
DISCO 2020 is a party, where the only thing that binds people together is music and dance, and a reason to be happy. In DISCO 2020 Kids there is also a capsule collaboration with Nathalie Lethe, a French illustrator.
Carbon Soldier’s AW20 collection, takes inspiration from visiting Pop-Up Globe, a world’s first full scale replica of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in their home city of Auckland, New Zealand.
Whimsical detailing in luxurious faux fur, washable wool blends, lush quilted velvets and premium quality knits combine to create unlimited outfit combinations with each piece named after a Shakespearean character.
Hues of grass green and pinks in rose and blush, are interspersed with shades of brown, black and beige allowing for unlimited outfit combinations that can be styled for any occasion.
Premium grade merino wool seamless dominate the Minimalisma collection in colours ranging from delicate pearl to moss green.
Traditional Faroese patterns inspire our new wool-blend jacquards that together with cosy cashmere and crispy organic cotton picquet’s bridge the gap between style and practicality.
Signature silk seamless return in new colours together with organic essentials that both constitute the Never Out Of Stock (NOOS) collection.
Colours reflect the landscape with wet moss green, calm seaweed, clay and soft
morning rose mixed with the most magnificent red that colour the horizon at
sunset on clear autumn days.
A collection that expresses a feeling for the past through a personal study with innovative techniques. Each piece tells a story and is made with natural, soft and warm yarns.
A set of colours, shapes, processes mixed together. Unique items of their kind, a collection with a vintage but contemporary flavour.
A collection of only knitwear of fine yarns and an entirely Italian production. A search for classic style mixed with new and unconventional materials. An aesthetic that recalls the past to create a contemporary poetic.
All sweaters, dress, trousers and accessories are designed to last over time.
Every child is different, so why should they all look the same?

Discover our selection of brands we scouted across the globe.
Ginnibò has been created by Beatrice Camerana and Isabella Spadacini. Two dynamic moms, two proud Milanesi and two entrepreneurs with a solid background in fashion, advertising and events. First came the idea, then their team: they were both focusing on starting a new kids store when they met. Since then they’ve gotten in touch with designers, brands and creative people.

Every year Airfish creates meticulously made Christmas dresses for children all around the world.
This year’s Christmas collection was inspired by the magical moment, “The Night Before Christmas”, when children’s wish is about to come true. The fabrics and trims used in this collection resembles the light of the stars in the mystic sky.
With these fabulous and magical materials, we were able to create dresses that resemble iridescent fairies of the galaxy, sparkling stars in the deep night sky, and gift dress that are perfect for the holidays and any other special occasions.
We also created a more practical pieces like sweatshirt set, plaid dress with matching headbands, fleece top with leggings for more active children.
One of my personal favourite brands – the FW/20 collection “Unexpected Poetry” is an ode to the written word, to the rhythm and rhyme of life and the beauty of verse that shadows, mimics and shapes our lives.
This collection reflects Little Creative Factory’s recent transition to the city that never sleeps, where dreams are manufactured against a backdrop of chimneys that breath ballads of smoke into the city’s skies.
Inspired by the poetic beat of Brooklyn, where the masters of metaphors scribble down unspoken desires and emotions, we pay homage to Walt Whitman and his beloved Brooklyn Bridge, to the Beatniks and bards, the rappers of the street and the retellers of spells and stories long gone.
