Just a few months in the planning and theĀ Mini Mode London Kids fashion catwalk FW18 was successfully launched during London Fashion Week last week.
The brainchild of Amanda Rabor who had already founded her own successful kids fashion label (Isossy Kids) and who felt that the capital needed some kids representation during London Fashion Week when all the fashion world’s eyes are on our capital city.
London has its own kids trade fairs but these are on a different timescale, in keeping with the timing of trade fairs in other European capital and the Mini Mode catwalk not only presented to press and trade but had another separate show for the public to buy tickets to take part in the fun as well.
Amanda feels it’s important to showcase what an economic powerhouse the kids fashion industry is and for it to be taken seriously as a part of the fashion world. The show supported the Osteopathic Centre for Children and donated 20% of the ticket sales to the charity.
The Mini Mode show held a mix of established and up and coming designers showing FW18 to the press and see now buy now SS18 for the public, below is a quick snapshot of next winter’s styles for childrenswear.
