From a young age Minime Paris founder Marie Marquet has loved creating accessories and clothing. As an adult, she is still a child fascinated by fairy tales, the imaginary, and pop surrealism. She studied at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndical de la Couture Parisienne, and has worked at several “Grandes Maisons” including Hermès, Balmain, and Chanel.
In 2014, she won a young talent competition with a photography session of her hair accessories and hats as the prize and is now a regular exhibitor at the seasonal shows with a range of clothing to match her quirky accessories.
The winter 2017 collection is inspired by monster creatures who accompany the brands muse, the ‘Alice’ from Alice in Wonderland all grown up in her adventures.
