‘Life is not a Fairytale’ new kids fashion from Caroline Bosmans for F/W18, one of the coolest and most innovative kids fashion designers out there. My translation thanks to Google from her original title ‘Das Leben ist kein Märchen’.
This new collection features innovative prints and softer elements with the use of lace and rainbow prints, neoprene bold colour pieces and voluminous cuts. The idea of the collection is based on the fact that life is not a fairytale. It makes no sense to pretend that life is. Even princesses have hair on their legs.
The campaign is based on real life mixed with fairy tale elements or an interpretation of it, it’s quirky and scary at the same time, using extreme Instagram/drag style make up and a bodybuilder to represent current fake ideals in the social media world.
Never one to hold back, Caroline Bosmans always find a point of reference in the modern world to inspire and critique with her well renowned style. Released to stores today 1st August.
