First look at Baby Dior Fall 2019 today.
Inspired by the tales of Monsieur Dior’s love of costume balls the Creative Director Cordelia de Castellane designed the F/W 2019 with outfits that are both festive and comfortable, with playful details such as dice-shaped buttons, bee patches or even little cat heads embroidered on a dress.
The materials are unexpected: tulle with hand- painted motifs, glossy wool, shiny neoprene and sparkling velvet as befits such a luxury kids fashion brand.
A round Dior Oblique canvas bag makes an appearance, a mini me Baby Dior borrowed from the women’s wardrobe which gives a fresh twist to any look.
The festivity isn’t lacking for the boys, either. The king of the animals makes its majestic entrance as embroidery on a sweater while jeans boast touches of colourful hand-painting and a shirt comes in a toile de Jouy print, one of the House’s signatures.
The colour palette ranges from green to red, without forgetting grey, one of Monsieur Dior’s favourite shades.
