Beautiful ethical kids fashion by Little Creative Factory FW19 with the launch of their new winter collection today ‘The Makers’ with exclusive shots on Smudgetikka.
There is also a wonderful film that accompanies the collection but we can only view a sneak peek at the moment as it also encompasses womenswear which has a later launch date than the children’s fashion.
The story of the collection begins with a talented seamstress called Constance who created Lenor, a masterpiece created out of paper and love whose own ambition was to surpass her own creator.
Watching them was small and quiet Germaine, the little apprentice who features here played by Andrea Van Boven with her mass of golden curls. The collection celebrates the artist, creator and the maker in all of us.
This season the Little Creative Factory style is created with cotton tweed, canvas and neoprene. Cotton canvas workwear is a nod to the apprentices. Red striped hessian skirts with volume are matched to tailored jackets and oversized chunky knits can layer over trousers or dresses.
Little Creative Factory has its own atelier in Barcelona and celebrates slow fashion with timeless and unique garments made to last from season to season. Garments can be mixed and matched as you wish and generously cut to adapt to growing little ones. Many styles of tops and trousers are generous enough to be worn by boys or girls in true unisex style.
This new collection ‘The Makers’ won a well deserved award for the inspirational runway presentation at Barcelona Fashion Week for the best catwalk collection of the 23rd Edition.
