New kids fashion store Velveteen comes to London to Ledbury Rd in Notting Hill for their first UK venture.
This is the second store for the brand who opened in Hong Kong last year and already has a strong online and instore presence with the world’s best kids retailers.
Founder Laura Egloff launched Velveteen in 2013 inspired by her 1970’s Californian beach childhood memories; where days were spent exploring hidden pathways, sharing secrets with friends and building fond memories – all with a sophisticated twist of rock ‘n’ roll.
The spring summer 2019 collection for boys and girls showcased here is inspired by old world travel to far-flung destinations where breezy beach days and golden sunsets melt into warm summer nights.
Influences come for South East Asia through to India with the brands signature delicate embroideries, trimmings and pastel tones.
Ruffle sleeves, dresses and new edition playsuits complete a romantic feel for the girlswear.
Boyswear has a similar sophisticated feeling and is newly expanded for the summer season. Ages run from 3 months to 14 years. The label manufactures with sustainable practises in mind with a close relationship to their producers.
