Time for kids winter shoes!

Young Soles FW20 on show today at Smudgetikka, the Autumn Winter 2020 collection stays true to the Young Soles brand ethos of evoking childhood memories and there is no way better to do this than taking a trip back to school.

Young Soles comments on the new season, “School is such a massive part of any person’s life and is remembered fondly by many of us, so we thought we would revisit our school days with the latest collection. Everyone experience of school is different and our school days were far more Grange Hill than Harry Potter!

We found this amazing old school in East London. It was a fantastic mixture of traditional features with contemporary facilities. There was a vibrant palette of bold contrasting colours found in most schools which acted as wonderful props and the perfect backdrop to our AW20 shoot.”

“The colours for our latest collection have been inspired by bold British school colours of black, cherry, red, chestnut brown, mustard and navy. Natural wool lined boots feature as well as a palette of autumnal hues of mulberry, mushroom and hunter green. After the success of our floral print last season we have updated this for winter with a black background.

This season sees the growth of our stitch-down category with the addition of three new styles. The first “Marlowe”, a classic yet relaxed Chelsea boot with brogue punch detailing and “Fletcher” a playful monkey boot, both are finished with a rubber crepe-style sole with a removable contoured cushioned insole and inside zip fastening.

Our new T-bar style “Parker” with influences of 70’s classic school shoes (yes, when boys rocked T-bars too!!) steps from the past into the present with a practical Velcro mock buckle fastening, complete removable contoured cushioned insole and teamed with a new ice coloured rubber sole and corded vamp detail.”
