Plastic World kids fashion shoot by Vika Pobeda for Hooligans magazine No 23, there is no Planet B! Hooligans magazine sneakily came out just after Christmas in a very under the radar way so many of you may not have realised there is a new issue out, last of the winter kids fashion.
The shoot below was supplied with a handy guide to the plastics used as props in the shoot;

The numbering system is based on a voluntary plastic guide developed by the Society of The Plastics Industry (SPI). Presently, SPI is working to improve the numbering system to make it easier for you to know what to recycle.
In this shoot, we have four different types of plastic:
1 PET is used in the production of soft drink bottles, peanut butter jars… PET can be recycled into the fibre is used to make textile such as fleece garments, carpets, stuffing for pillows and life jackets, and similar products.
2 HDPE is found in milk jugs, butter tubs, detergent bottles, motor oil bottles… HDPE can be recycled into flower pots, trash cans traffic barrier cones, detergent bottles…
5 PP is used in most yogurt containers,
straws, pancake syrup bottles, bottle caps….
PP can be recycled into plastic lumber, car battery cases, manhole steps…
7 This is usually a mixture of various plastics, like squeeze ketchup bottles, “microwaveable” dishes.
