Monochromatic kids fashion shoot from the new Hooligans magazine just released, it’s the May edition held over from March due to the coronavirus emergency.
Now as the world begins to tentatively open up again to commerce this will be one of the few magazines with a strong selection of the summer 2020 kids fashion collections.
Most shoots were shot before lockdown though a couple were completed by remote shooting via Face Time which with Zoom seems to have become the default style during lockdown.
I am featuring today a stripped back monochrome shoot by Isabel Pinto which is appealing for its black and white simple quality in a world where I am currently feeling too saturated by colour on social media and the reality of other peoples living arrangements crashing into my consciousness.
I’m craving a simpler style, monochrome living, a graphic certainty against an uncertain future. A palate cleanser before the next stage to come!
This gorgeous shoot by Isabel Pinto is part of the Five Senses issue and is a tribute to the late amazing fashion photographer legend Peter Lindbergh.
