The Kids Show in Paris is the alternative design led kids fashion fair run the same time as Playtime Paris. Smaller and more intimate it has a good selection of smaller designers that complement the bigger labels that can be found at Playtime.
Some of my favourites here are returning exhibitors such as Cavalier, East End Highlanders who have a fabulous new girls collection, Frou Frou which I couldn’t photograph and Taiwanese design label Once all of whom have great kids collections for fall/winter 2017.
There were a good selection of new exhibitors too, Knit Planet whose high quality fine knits found respect at Dot to Dot last year have enlarged the collection and included a few adult women’s styles. With 68 collections here, there is a lot to choose from.
Big Stuffed had the most wonderful super soft ocean creature toys in a room the six year old in you never wanted to leave and there were innovative new shoe labels too.
