Although ‘Dear World’ Bobo Choses kids fall 2017 fashion collection has been sneaked onto social media for the past few days I thought it is such a strong collection its worth showing a few more of the shots here.
Inspired by the sea and all the beautiful things it contains it also raises the question of how should we relate to it in a sustainable way. Prints are inspired by the sea surface, beach crabs, flocks of birds, crisp waves, sailboats as well as the sea deep inhabitants, school of coloured fish, octopuses, corals and jellyfish.
Shapes are inspired by fishermen’s clothing and developed to match the fabrics. Recycled polyester and organic cotton help make the collection more sustainable.
A capsule collection ‘Plastic is over?’ is conscious of man’s dependency on plastic and seeks to find a responsible attitude towards the environment and protect the ocean from the plastic pollution it suffers from.
