Caroline Bosmans Official Fake kids collection for winter 2017 is based on the very real fact that many of the top kidswear designers are having copies made of their collections which sometimes make it to the stores even before the legitimate lines do!
This is a tongue in the cheek title of course as it also features fake fur prints based on pussy cats instead of the usual big cats but the title has resonance as Caroline has been one of the victims of extreme copying in the past.
The main culprits are the large worldwide chains and Far East manufacturers who snatch photos on mobile phones at trade fairs. To some extent copies are expected, after all that’s how the business has always worked, but some copies are popping up with not just the designs but also the inside labels matched too, the only giveaway is the quality of the fabric and printing.
The Caroline Bosmans official collection for fall/winter 2017 launches August the 11th and has monochrome pattern prints as well as classic big cat patterns and multi rainbow colour glitter textiles in casual clubby silhouettes all shot in a fabulous fashion pink location.
