Anine Bing launched a new childrens line to be known as Bing Kids on Sunday.
The LA based designer launched her adult line a few years ago which was eagerly snapped up by Yummy Mummy’s for the perfect T-shirt and jeans combo she produced. The line is simple and modern and sells with a see now buy now basis in season on her website.
The inspiration behind the kids line is rooted in Anine’s desire to create wearable, affordable, and seamless basics for kids that also pack a light punch with edgy details, from leopard prints to leather trims. Through Instagram, Anine invites followers to peek into her life in L.A, where she is not only a designer and a business woman, but also a mother of two to Benjamin, 4, and Bianca, 7. Her hyper-engaged followers (500,000 and counting) have expressed an interest in kidswear since the brand’s early days. For Anine this has been a natural next step that is finally becoming a reality.
The collection is uniquely unisex and includes cool rock’n’roll t-shirts, jeans, leather and army jackets with a price point between £27 – £280. Similar to the mother brand, the collection will be dropping new styles monthly and will be sold exclusively online.
