Releasing a new kids fashion video last week as one of the coolest brands in town The Animals Observatory have a pretty grungy shoot to match for lifestyle photos too. Keeping themselves a little apart by not showing at the major fashion fairs, only by appointment in Paris, has been a good strategy for the new brand. Just click on a link to view the video.
The collection has a retro 70’s/ 80’s feel that reflects the style of the popular brand Bobo Choses where founder Laia Aguilar was creative director. Tempted away by business man Jan Andreu for whom The Animals Observatory project represents the realisation of one of his dreams as an entrepreneur, and particularly as a parent.
Laia Aguilar was the perfect choice of partner to make that dream a reality. She sees children’s fashion as an artistic tool through which she can express her own extraordinary world.
The video is of Laia’s 7 year old daughter Adriana and was shot over a day at the beach with a Super camera using the music of John Coltrane with a jazz classic called A Love Supreme.
A favourite with the blogging and mummy social media community The Animals Observatory is one of the most featured brands on the web these days.
