Vintage Children’s Pictures

I found Sonia Roy’s work through an image used in Milk Magazine to illustrate how it’s no bad thing to all look the same. I loved her use of vintage children’s pictures juxtaposed with heavy industrial backgrounds leading to highly unsettling images.

She lives in Montreal and after a ten year detour as a web designer now works as an illustrator for magazines and avdvertising. See more of her work featuring adults here.
