A chic French take on the bridesmaid and page story by Melanie Rodriguez and Deborah Sfez

A sweet set of pictures showing a French chic styling for a bridesmaid and page boy this spring, or as the French term it a cortège enfant and the Italians ceremony.

Shot by the team of photographer Melanie Rodriguez and Deborah Sfez who shoot editorially for Papier Mache and Milk magazine.

Mixing tutu’s and smart tailored pieces with Liberty prints and quilting for warmth on a chilly day they have a less conventional feel than many bridesmaid collections.

The little paper garlands are divine as well. The designer is Christina Sfez who also designs wedding dresses for adults and is the stylist Deborah’s older sister.

Mini Boden special occasion kidswear, online limited edition for spring/summer 2013

Last year Mini Boden kidswear introduced a mini me collection for special events, weddings, christenings, bar mitzvah, you know the kind of thing.

This has been expanded this year but is an online only limited edition offering and has recently gone live on the site so I would snap it up now if you have anything at all vaguely celebratory this year.

The dresses have their own identity but will tie in with colours and fabrics from the mainline women’s collection should you wish to take that route, as standalone outfits though they are very cute. They are on both the USA and UK sites and I would accessorise them with the grey rib knee socks banded in colour that are coming online at Mini Boden little later this season in the manner of the Bonnie Young recent show in New York seen here.

Dreaming of Summer and I can’t get these Anthropologie chairs out of my mind!

I am going slightly stir crazy with the coldest March in 20 years in the UK at the moment and longing for warmer weather which has led to my dreaming about these fab Anthropologie handwoven chairs which have an echo of the retro style Marni special edition chairs from last summer.

They are not in stock yet but will be coming soon as well as the well nutty crochet jellyfish cushions, ice cream cone dishes and sweet little toy yachts below. I’d be all set for summer if only it would get warmer!

Monster’s Baby, the cool T-shirt brand for kids created by two creative industry Uncles!

In an unusual twist to the normal ” I had a baby and decided there was nothing for it to wear” start up in the kidswear business Monster’s Baby was actually started by two young guys who couldn’t find cool T-shirts for their nieces and nephews.

Joe Olswang had a background in the music industry and VK Assi was a graphic designer who formed Monster’s Baby in 2012 and started selling from a stall in Portobello Market.

Things took off and the brand is now about to be stocked from Wednesday in Selfridges with an exclusive range of babygros and T-shirts and there are plans for a more extensive range later in 2013 to include harem pants, sweatshirts, jackets and shoes from 0- 8 years old. Other items will also be available directly online and at Amazon from March 2013.

Neige summer 2013, cute kids fashion shots from New York photographer Lee Clower

Neige children’s fashion label is designed by Adrienne Sugden whose design background includes working as an assistant designer to Vera Wang before she left New York for Southern California.

It comes therefore as no surprise that this spring / summer 2013 kids collection is full of classy and classical styles which are modern and bereft of overdone frills and flounces.
