Once again Hotel Chocolat have a great selection of chocolate goodies for Halloween and Christmas. With a new graphic designer on board and new additions which even include a beauty range ( no not chocolate face mask!) the ranges look fresh as we move into fall 2012.

Check out the coffin box of chocolates with gold embossed skeleton heads, and the little black velvet pouches of coffin and bat shapes, plus Zombies zingers and Witches warts. Great for tween parties and below have a little preview of Christmas to come with a new icy toned packaging in pale blue and white which makes for a gorgeous Advent Calender and an amazing truffle and slab box of treats.

For parents who have little ones obsessed with chocolate I can recommend a visit to the Roast and Conch cafe owned by the company in Monmouth St, WC2. There is a production line of the process from Cocoa bean to liquid chocolate at one end of the bar downstairs. Kids can view the beans as they go through the different stages and taste the liquid chocolate as it comes out at the end. It’s fascinating and reminds me of the time I saw seaside rock being made when I was a little girl.
