Having been entranced by the animal cushion window at Liberty I was also entranced by the first look at the buy for the kids fashion dept “Little Liberty” inside for next Fall/Winter.
Particularly by the accessories from Oeuf be good amongst others who have produced wonderful knitted crowns/ ear muffs, cute knitted moustaches on elastic bands to be worn as headbands or necklaces, glitter dress up crowns and top hats and sweet baby booties.
The buying has renewed orders for the top Belgium brands, Anne Kurris, Maan, Simple Kids and Rita co Rita which I love as well as Caramel Baby and Child from the UK.
A quick visit to the newly opened department confirmed that it is a sizeable area with a very tempting offering which is a real challenge to Selfridges in that part of the West End of London.
Mums will also be very tempted by the gorgeous womenswear on display too, I’ve included a shot of a stunning kimono by Dries Van Noten that I am now officially lusting after. Note the oriental print background fabric, oriental prints are a huge trend in womenswear now and we are likely to see this reflected in kidswear for next summer.
