After seeing the bling of Mawi at London Fashion Week I was intrigued to learn they have a Disney collaboration line too, not cheap but more suitable for children but with the same glittering luxe factors of the adults jewellery.

With the classic Mickey and Minnie mouse ear symbols the line has glittering pendants, bauble necklaces with hearts, bracelets and for the older teens stone earrings.

The British based but Indian born Mawi Keivom has celebrity customers such as Emma Watson and Cheryl Cole loving her adult creations, maybe this range will add new up and coming tween starlets to her customer base too.

The London Fashion Week exhibition seemed to be teaming with jewellery stands, perhaps a reflection of the prominence of jewellery recently in the main designer collections, it used to be handbags but there were very few of those to be seen this season.

I always like keeping an eye on the adult fashion trends as I often see themes popping up in kidswear one year down the line, some of these jewellery pieces would look great on kids too and I am hoping to be borrowing for future shoots.

Some of the greatest looks were in an exhibition of bespoke designer items inspired by Minnie Mouse by Walt Disney. The items can all be seen on Ebay and the profits will be used to benefit the BFC / Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation.
