Back in the swing of things after the New Year celebrations with a fashion forward kidswear collection for the new spring season by French designers Finger in the Nose.

A byword for cool attitude and a great pair of skinny kids jeans here is their spring/summer 2013 collection.

Rykiel Enfant, a retro 70′s vibe for kids fashion next summer from this veteran French designer.

Love the seventies vibe at next summers collection for girlswear by Rykiel Enfant. In very cheering bright red, pinks and yellow there are artistic splash prints and multicolored stripes and spots with a little red/white and blue thrown in too.

The very sweet baby collection mimics the styles of the 2-14 years kids collection and look out for the great accessories with cartwheel striped hats that almost fit an adults head in great colour combinations.

Inspiration from the Pop Artists of the 60′s married with 70′s shapes make for a very happy vibe here, it was the era when the Sonia Rykiel label began in Paris on the Left Bank and had some of its greatest moments. Lanvin kids fashion for spring 2013 is released pre Christmas online.

A new selection of the incredibly exclusive Lanvin girls collection has just been released online from the spring 2013 season.

There is a mix of vivid colour and dark navy and an unusual silver leather look 60′s shift dress all teamed with vibrant bright or metallic ballet pump style shoes.

Le Petit Lucas du Tertre summer 2013 sneak preview of kids summer fashion

I love the mixed pattern and print ethos of Le Petit Lucas du Tertre and it is interesting to see that for summer they have pulled away from the traditional fairisle and jaquard patterning of the winter season to a more graphic and simple style which reflects their love of Japanese pattern with a little whimsy.

One of the key French kids brands I love to see at Playtime Paris, this is a happy summer look that will be perfect for the South of France summer.

Finger in the Nose, a super cool brand for kids, trends for winter 2012

This French brand always manages to impart a cool look to their kidswear, its not overstyled or over fussy, just great basics with really well cut shapes and easy relaxed chilled out children in its phootgraphy.

Finger in The Nose are also starting to have fingers in many pies too with a collaboration with sunglasses ski specialist brand Vuarnet, a new store in Saint Germain des Pres in Paris and and extended range to teen girl sizes too up to 18 yrs old.
