The new issue of Collezioni Bambini is published and I love this kids fashion story from Gerard Harten about a friend from another planet.

Using the landscapes from Cape Town to create a futureworld where aliens are our friends this is a great set of kids fashion photography and features children’s designer labels for spring / summer 2013 focusing on block colour and stripes.

Here is a great set of pictures from US children’s fashion photographer Dani Brubaker, styled by the French uber kids stylist Julie Vianey for the Italian magazine Collezioni. Truly an International collaboration and therefore perfect to illustrate the first day of the International Pitti Bimbo children’s designer fashion fair in Florence which kicks off today showing all the new trends for the spring / summer 2013 season from the top fashion brands for kids clothing in the world.

As alway’s Pitti Bimbo themselves will be releasing photos of the shows shortly after they have happened on their website which now has its own blog so I will not keep updating here, maybe the odd Instagram on twitter so catch me there at @smudgetikka but I will have my personal view of the new trends and styles next week.
