Sweet summer Pale Cloud kids fashion shoot by Katrina Tang

Estonian kids photographer Katrina Tang has a new blog featuring her work from the city of New York where she is now a resident.

One of her first photoseries featured shows some of this summers kids fashion from Pale Cloud and is shot on one of her favourite child models, Angelina Porcelli from Generation.

Angelina modelled for the Pale Cloud catwalk at Petite Parade in NYC recently and has just been in Norway shooting the Pale Cloud 2014 spring campaign and lookbook so look out for the release of the pictures after the trade shows this June.

J.Crew for fall 2013 and a London pop up shop with women’s, mens and kids cashmere to buy.

Set in the coolest spot in Kings Cross just round the side of Central St Martins art school is the temporary J.Crew pop up shop which is open the 24th and 25th May to the public.

Selling current cashmere collections for kids as well as adults and cool fashion books there is also a selection of beaded and decorated one off individual unique collars on sale. The shop is previewing the fall J.Crew fashion ranges which can be pre-ordered by the public.

I had a sneak preview today and the whole store looks amazing, the fall 2013 collections are a riot of mixtures of pattern and texture with fantastic glittery accessories in girlswear and womenswear and the boys have a neat camouflage summer shorts suit for sale and for fall there is a fabulous muted plaid tailored tux suit and strong coloured chino pants.

M&S have got themselves a brilliant kids fashion collection for fall 2013

We knew there was a new design element coming to the Marks and Spencer kids fashion collection in line with all the changes to the adults and the new team at M&S have pulled off a brilliant first seasons children’s collection.

All the trend elements from the designer brands are represented with brocade fabrics, vibrant colour blocking, geometric prints and woodland themes present. The price point has not changed from last season so it is all reasonably accessible.

The change in the babies selection is stunning, with beautiful soft pinks and caramels tones or vivid splash prints replacing the lurid pink embroidered items of recent seasons.

Readers will have to wait till July for the new fall styles to filter in but keep an eye out as the best items are sure to sell out in superquick time.

Missie Sunshine Couture – children’s beachwear with a funky attitude from Montreal.

Missie Sunshine Couture is the brainchild of Christina Lee and her partner Heidi Massa who started the brand over a year ago. They are based in Montreal and the collection is produced in India.

Helping them with the branding, art direction and graphics is one of my cyber friends, Chantale Park whose own delightful blog featuring her daughter Kiki shows us many aspects of Montreal and her favourite bento boxes!
