Dominic Wilcox artistic collaboration with Swedish watch brand TRIWA – Its a small world after all.

I love a bit of creative advertising and these watch images are perfect. British artist Dominic Wilcox worked with the Swedish watch label TRIWA  known for their individualistic approach and previous artist collaborations.

Dominic’s work encompasses conceptual ideas about human behaviour in different media styles as he tries to find surprising moments in the banal of everyday life.

For TRIWA he created an installation that is dedicated to the various stages of the design process of a watch, ‘I have always liked to imagine that tiny people live in a secret miniature world. For the TRIWA project I created three different images, which are supposed to illustrate how a watch is made. First is the delivery of raw materials, then the workshop and finally the showroom, in which the finished models are on display. When I look at the scenes in the morning, I am almost always certain, that some of the watches have moved during the night.’

As part of London Design Week his own works are currently on show at London’s KK Outlet Gallery in Hoxton.
