Misha Lulu has been growing, from starting as a small family mail order brand this season they exhibited at Playtime New York, into the bigger pond for their whimsical take on nostalgia.

A new set of photos too from the talented photographer and blogger Flannery O’Kafka to illustrate the woodland / fairytale inspired collection for boys and girls for next fall / winter.Misha Lulu also have a cute take on old seasons stock with what they call their surplus store here for past seasons offerings.

New Generals new webshop opens today online, great giveaway today for a €150 gift voucher.

The amazing Danish kids ethicool brand New Generals have revamped their online webshop in time for the summer season and are offering €150 gift voucher to one lucky reader.

New Generals have become known for their totally ethical approach to kids fashion for boys and girls but with avant garde styling and design. Their architectural dresses and jackets and teamed with cool insect or graphic line prints and their colour palette is monochromatic with a touch of additional colour which varies each season.

A favourite of all the fashionista bloggers at the trade fairs they produced an amazing collection for winter 2013 which you can see on my earlier post here. Diane von Furstenberg and Gap collaborate on another brilliant kids and baby fashion collection for summer 2013

The strong vibrant graphics which are the signature style of Diane Von Furstenberg are a perfect fit for the summer months with Gap for their kids and baby collections.

The two have collaborated once again for a superbly graphic summer collection which hits the stores and online on April 25th. This cute photoshoot which echoes the collections theme of The Explorers shows off the distinctive prints to perfection.

The collection also contains shoes and accessories with wide brim hats, sunglasses,thongs and espadrilles and both denim and chino cotton shirts and jackets with embroidered badges.

Castlebaby, unique special occasion dressing for children from Spain.

Founded in May 2011, Castlebaby is a unique label from Spain catering for the layette and special occasion wear market, they are a new sponser for me and I am delighted to give them some showspace here for their stunning traditional formal designs.

The garments are outstanding in quality, delicate and use traditional handmade sewing techniques. Items for the children range from a baby layette of soft knitted cotton to a full length elaborate christening or communion gown.

Harvey Nichols stunning menswear windows, a collaboration with painter Andrew Salgado

In the middle of running around town last week for press shows I was stopped dead in my tracks by these stunning Harvey Nichols windows for their menswear collections.

A collaboration with artist Andrew Salgado sees huge face backdrops in his distinctive figurative abstract style commissioned especially for the store. The windows are on the Sloane St side of the store and it seems a shame that they don’t front out to Knightsbridge as they are so strong.

Window display in London is pretty disappointing this season with all the budget cuts in retail so its a real treat to come across something with so much imagination and style.
