Il Gufo treated us to a magic show of kids fashion in Italy for fall/winter 2017 at Pitti Bimbo.
The catwalk was a wide stage in an old and very beautiful cinema in the centre of Florence, each table held little bottles of sweet flavoured water and popcorn and multiple white balloons decorated the stage.
The magic continued with a strange white sheeted writhing figure on the stage and a master of ceremonies who led the kids across the stage and into conjuring tricks.
Il Gufo have captured the knowledge of how to make a memorable show now and although for those not on tables close to the stage it was hard to see much detail it was a beautiful event.
Clothes featured prints with animals that disappear as if by magic on sweatshirts and T-shirts, crystal balls that reflect fantastic worlds, and splashes of colour that become sparkling raindrops on special occasion dressing. There is also a Silver Label line which is a very elegant evening capsule collection with velvet cloaks and tulle and taffeta dresses with Swarovski decoration for girls and velvet suits for the boys.
Treats at the end of the show brought by an army of waiters included frozen vodka cocktails and sweet biscuits and buns wrapped in little packages.
