Miss Blumarine kids fashion backstage at Pitti Bimbo 76th edition for fall 2013

Miss Blumarine is always the most organised kids designer fashion show in Italy where all the girls are given oversized T-shirts to wear while their hair and make up is done and the celebrity guests mingle with the other mums and kids together.

The girls had a great time clustering round and watching as they had their make up done one by one and playing grandmother’s footsteps while waiting to dress, so refreshing to see a group game where usually all the kids are plugged into iPads.

Highlights of the Miss Blumarine kids collection for fall 2013 included a stunning green emerald brocade dress, monochromatic tweed dogtooth check coats and soft velvet draped party dress styles.

J.Crew for fall 2013 and a London pop up shop with women’s, mens and kids cashmere to buy.

Set in the coolest spot in Kings Cross just round the side of Central St Martins art school is the temporary J.Crew pop up shop which is open the 24th and 25th May to the public.

Selling current cashmere collections for kids as well as adults and cool fashion books there is also a selection of beaded and decorated one off individual unique collars on sale. The shop is previewing the fall J.Crew fashion ranges which can be pre-ordered by the public.

I had a sneak preview today and the whole store looks amazing, the fall 2013 collections are a riot of mixtures of pattern and texture with fantastic glittery accessories in girlswear and womenswear and the boys have a neat camouflage summer shorts suit for sale and for fall there is a fabulous muted plaid tailored tux suit and strong coloured chino pants.

M&S have got themselves a brilliant kids fashion collection for fall 2013

We knew there was a new design element coming to the Marks and Spencer kids fashion collection in line with all the changes to the adults and the new team at M&S have pulled off a brilliant first seasons children’s collection.

All the trend elements from the designer brands are represented with brocade fabrics, vibrant colour blocking, geometric prints and woodland themes present. The price point has not changed from last season so it is all reasonably accessible.

The change in the babies selection is stunning, with beautiful soft pinks and caramels tones or vivid splash prints replacing the lurid pink embroidered items of recent seasons.

Readers will have to wait till July for the new fall styles to filter in but keep an eye out as the best items are sure to sell out in superquick time.
