Lanvin’s dolls that accompanied the new children’s fashion collection have a story to tell.
They are hand embroidered and stitched in Swaziland by women who have been diagnosed as HIV positive who are supported by the charity Dessine L’espoir who colloborated with Lanvin for this project.
As soon as I saw them in the children’s winter campaign pictures I thought they would make a great collectors item, priced at 250 Euros each doll and wearing exact mini copies of the miniature Lanvin Petite collection they will be on sale from November in all Lanvin boutiques and retail outlets that carry the Lanvin Petite line.
