The founder of Iglo, Helga Ólafsdóttir has an illustrious fashion background having worked for All Saints and as the clothing designer for Ilse Jacobsen amongst other top labels. She is Icelandic by birth but studied in Copenhagen and travelled widely.
It is a newish line having been founded in 2008 but is beginning to find its own identity with some really lovely cap sleeves printed dresses coming through for the summer season of childrenswear next year. A holiday in Palm Springs provided the inspiration so clearly her love of travelling is still strong!
They will be exhibiting for the first time at Bubble London in January to show the winter 2012 season so may well become a more familiar name in the UK.
